Oct 29, Rowan rated it liked it Firstly, I just want to say that I think Dinan did a fantastic job writing this book in a way that helps the reader understand not only what is happening, but who is doing it and other relevant details that fill in the story of the formation and transformation of the EU. I loved his use of precise vocabulary and his characterizations of many of the important players helped turn names into people. However, the topic, history of the EU, is one of the most boring realms of study I can imagine. Firstly, I just want to say that I think Dinan did a fantastic job writing this book in a way that helps the reader understand not only what is happening, but who is doing it and other relevant details that fill in the story of the formation and transformation of the EU.
